The development and articulation of the overarching programme that we call Lyreco Goodness gives us the opportunity to clearly communicate our ambition, our objectives, and our priorities on social value and sustainability, to state what is most important to us, and to identify our points of distinction. Our impact is large, however our potential to improve our planet is great.

As a large business, I recognise that we have a global impact far beyond the products and services that we sell. How we behave, how we treat others in our work and public communities, how we learn, develop, and innovate has far reaching impacts on society and our planet.

The impact of COVID-19 has been profound. Our recovery from it presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to accelerate the pace at which we advance progressive ideas – levelling up the economy, a more inclusive sector and decarbonisation.

We want to lead our industry on this agenda. Lyreco strives to have a positive impact on all our beneficiaries, making economic, social, environmental, and cultural responsibilities a priority. Our aim is to embed social value and sustainable development throughout our working practices, integrate it into our supply chain and support our community.

As MD of Lyreco UK and Ireland, I will ensure that social value and sustainability remains a central consideration in our decision-making. Everyone within Lyreco, and those who work with us, have a part to play in building a sustainable and socially responsible future.
